Join Molly in Strasbourg to learn how to make French Pastries!
Ever attracted to all things sweet, Molly left her marketing career in Texas to study pastry at Le Cordon Bleu Paris in 2013. She worked for several pastry shops in Texas including Bisous Bisous Patisserie, voted best bakery in Dallas in 2015, before returning to France. Since then she has continued her work in pastry through catering events, working in cafés and bakeries in Paris, and at Château de Gudanes, in the South of France, where she is the head pastry chef during the summer.
In 2017, she moved from Paris to Strasbourg, where she started Cakestub to share her passion for French pastries and her new love for Alsace.
The name comes from an Alsatian word “stub” pronounced “stōb” in English, which is a word for the common living area in a home, and the only room that was kept heated during the winter. “Winstubs” around Alsace are cozy establishments to grab a glass of wine. So what better place to go than a warm cozy place for a cake or to learn how to make pastries!
